File Requirements
What you can and can't upload

All files are scanned before listings go live. We only allow plain-text configurations — no executables, no code that runs on buyer machines.

What scanning catches and doesn't catch

Our scanner checks for: executable code, binary files, obfuscated content, and disallowed file types. It does not inspect the semantic content of JSON/YAML files for malicious webhook URLs, external API calls, or prompt injection strings. You are responsible for ensuring your setup doesn't contain credentials, endpoint URLs pointing to third-party services, or instructions designed to manipulate AI systems. Listings found to contain harmful content after review are removed and sellers are permanently banned.

Seller questions answered
When do I get paid? ▼
After a buyer completes a purchase, the payment is held for 48 hours. This is the buyer protection window — if there's a dispute, it's resolved during this time. After 48 hours with no dispute, the funds (minus the 15% platform fee) are automatically transferred to your connected Stripe account.
Do I need a Stripe account? ▼
Yes. You'll need to connect a Stripe account to receive payouts. Stripe is available in most countries. Setting it up takes about 5 minutes and requires basic identity verification.
What happens if a buyer disputes a purchase? ▼
If a buyer opens a dispute during the 48-hour hold, we review the claim with the seller. We require evidence from both sides — the buyer must show the setup doesn't work as described (screenshots, logs, error messages). Buyer's remorse, lack of technical skill, or environment issues are not valid refund reasons. If the claim is unfounded, we reject it and you're paid normally. We actively track refund history per buyer email. Buyers with 3+ refunds in 90 days are blocked from future purchases — protecting sellers from serial refunders.
Can I sell on Vexlink and other platforms? ▼
Yes. There's no exclusivity requirement. You can sell your setups on Gumroad, your own site, or anywhere else at the same time.
What IP protection do I have as a seller? ▼
You retain full ownership of your setup files. Vexlink only holds a limited license to display and promote your listing on the platform. Buyers receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable personal/business use license — they cannot resell, redistribute, or sublicense your files. This is enforced in our Terms of Service. If you discover a buyer redistributing your work, contact support@vexlink.io with evidence and we'll take action including account suspension. Note: digital file piracy is an ongoing challenge across all platforms. We enforce our terms but cannot guarantee zero unauthorized sharing.
How is my listing reviewed? ▼
When you submit a listing, it goes through an automated scan for disallowed file types and content. Listings that pass go live within a few minutes. We also do periodic manual reviews. Listings that violate our content policy are removed and sellers are notified.
Can I update my listing after publishing? ▼
Yes. You can edit the title, description, tags, price, and files at any time from your dashboard. Previous buyers automatically get access to updated files at no extra charge.
What's the minimum and maximum price? ▼
Minimum is $1.00. Maximum is $999.00. You can also create discount codes for your listings from the dashboard.
